Abstract

Nathanael Rudolph is an associate professor of sociolinguistics and language education at Kindai University in Higashiosaka, Japan. His research interests include translingual practice, critical approaches to language teacher and learner identity, and (in)equity in (and beyond) language education.

M. Faruq Ubaidillah researches issues of global Englishes in language teaching. His works have been published in international peer review journals such as The Journal of Asia TEFL (indexed in Scopus and ESCI Clarivate Analytics) and Korea TESOL Journal. His expertise lies in the issues of global Englishes in ELT, language and identity, narrative inquiry and language teaching methodology
